How to do it

Hop forward over a mini hurdle on one foot and, the moment you land, quickly bound 90° to the side, then drive forward again off the other leg, creating a continuous pattern that alternates forward and lateral movement. This exercise improves single-leg power, landing stability, use of ground reaction force and the speed of change-of-direction transitions, helping athletes decelerate, turn and re-accelerate faster when moving at high speed. Suitable for sports with frequent changes of direction, such as basketball, football, tennis and badminton.
